Description
Cleaning and preparatory agent containing ammonia and emulsifying agents for cleaning exterior sheet metal roofing and cladding. Roof Cleaning Agent is particularly suitable for the cleaning and removal of impurities from zinc coated surfaces prior to painting.
Examples of use
Removal of dirt, grease, oil, protective agents and water soluble impurities from both new and previously painted zinc coated surfaces, plastisol, etc.
Preparation
Remove all loose and flaking paint coatings and all loose material. Clean all rust from surfaces by means of scraper and steel brush.
Methods of application
Brush, sponge or cloth.
Directions for use
Mix Roof Cleaning Agent with water in the ratio of one part Roof Cleaning Agent to four parts water and thoroughly clean down all surfaces. Rinse carefully with water. Allow surfaces to dry before painting. Note: Best results will be achieved by scrubbing down with a cleaning brush. When using Roof Cleaning Agent wear appropriate safety clothing i.e. gloves and eye protection in case of splashing.
Cleaning of tools
Clean immediately after use with water.
Prevent environmental damage
Empty cans should be recycled or disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Liquid waste should be destroyed according to the local regulations.
