Preparations

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dirt, oil, wax, rust, all loose material and surface contamination. Use recommended Tikkurila products as cleaning agents and for mould removal. Use a recommended Tikkurila wet-room filler for filling cracks, nail holes, blemishes, etc., as well as for levelling uneven walls and ceilings. Ensure that existing glossy, gloss painted and filled surfaces are thoroughly flatted down. Ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly prepared.

Application

Methods: brush, roller or spray application. Thinning: when necessary, thin with water.

Painting conditions

All surfaces to be painted must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +10 deg. C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80%.

Painting

Stir the paint thoroughly and apply two coats of Luja Moisture Stop overall, allowing 2-4 hours between coats. Thin the first coat with water (one part Moisture Stop and one part water). When using Luja Moisture Stop in conjunction with glass-fibre wall coverings, the second coat of Moisture Stop should be applied on top of and overall the wall covering.

Coverage
