The production processes and manufacturing techniques of our high performance paint are constantly being upgraded.

In 1996 Valtti’s partner, Tikkurila Oy, was the first Finnish company and the third paint company in Europe to receive registration under the European Union's Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). EMAS is a management tool for companies and other organisations to evaluate, report and improve their environmental performance.

Valtti’s aim for all manufacturing units is to substantially reduce the emissions and other waste products from production and to ensure the greatest possible economy in the use of raw materials and energy.

Environmental concerns are also of key importance when it comes to designing production plants for performance paint.

Valtti make every effort to prevent discharges of harmful substances into the atmosphere, soil and water by employing technological methods and automatic alarm systems.

The maximum feasible amount of waste material is recycled. Non-recyclable, harmful wastes are sent to an incineration plant for final disposal.
