First Glasgow schools nears completion

VALTTI began work on these projects last year when we were asked to supply specifications and support for superior quality interior Trade paints.

To ensure the high standards of finish our client demanded were met, we selected products from the VALTTI Optiva portfolio in order to build our specification.

All communal, classroom and corridor areas received two coats of OPTIVA Matt in various colours and wet areas such as kitchens, toilets and changing facilities were painted with Optiva vinyl silk to improve moisture and chemical resistance.

Feedback from our clients in Glasgow has been hugely positive the ability to apply 2 coats of Optiva to a new fibre board surface and have it cover has been a major point of note, as has been the ability to return to a partially completed wall and continue painting after a couple of days with no differing shade. This product trait has greatly reduced multi trade interference and enabled much more economical use of manpower.

The schools programme in Glasgow has been a real success for us the Optiva portfolio and more importantly our clients.
