Location: Springboig BISF refurbished housing for Glasgow City Council
Project: Metal profile roofs requiring increased protection and colour change.

A high performance paint coating, for 98 houses in an exposed location on Glasgow’s east side, was needed to protect the metal roofing for at least a 5 to 10 year maintenance cycle.

Valtti specified the use of Repco maintenance paint and completed the project over two phases in 2007.

It was Glasgow Housing Association’s desire to improve the aesthetic properties of the housing stock by blending the roofing with the new render colours whilst providing long-term protection to the metal profile substrate.
